Hi, Im still in 1994 where, may I say....im much more at home. Twenty years ago. Well, this was my favorite album at the time. I found it on a plain Grey Cassette with no artwork released as a Promo by Mute Records in a used Book/Music/Second Hand Crap Store in Victorville when it had just come out. I subscribed to Mutes Mailing List and recalled the name and just happened to have enough spare change to pay the 50 cents this cost my curiosity...and change me from there to eternity. How and why did a PRomotional Plain Lable Cassette of Henrys Dream end up in a Bargain Bin in the middle of the Majave Desert 21 yrs ago with nothing but Plain Black Print On a Grey Background And Officially Property of Mutelivtechnologies in London? You got me. Maybe itll all make sense when Nick Cave and David Lybch finally join forces to bring to life the Ratpack/Western I made up where Madonna costars asThe Madame of a Belle Du Jour 5 Star Brothel hidden in the desert between Palm Springs and where Roilte 66 & Santa Fe Rail meet on the way From Hollywood To Las Vegas called The Garden of Earthly Delights....and I get to play John Finns Wife.
