Hi, Im trying to write my book description and Id like your honest feedback . “The other self” is a crime fiction novel concatenating a series of murders that have happen in a fictional country called Oradania, in 2012. The book introduces the characters and their stories as it interconnects them together and as the book transform itself from a psychological thriller into a romantic, comic one. To a young detective was given a murder case, which is speculated to be committed by the famous writer Drusilla Amaranta. As he investigates further and regarding events like his sister kidnap, the detective discovers that Drusilla Amaranta is not the killer and that some dangerous people are after him and his family. Ultimately, the murderers are found out to be closer than the detective could possibly think and that the murders were committed out of a mental illness and the greed for power and wealth. This novel discusses emotional and mental problems and warns us about the power that our minds have over us and that the things are not what they seem to be. It also briefly mentions the mental damages caused by the child abuse.
