Hi, Ive suffered from debilitating, sometimes crippling, - TopicsExpress

Hi, Ive suffered from debilitating, sometimes crippling, widespread body pain since I was 19 (Im almost 28 now). Ive lost my entire life to it. I have Fibromyalgia, but I know theres an undiagnosed, underlying root cause to it. I need a walker and a wheelchair at times. Im thought to have autoimmune disease or Chronic Lyme, and finally after fighting for 4 years, Ive been accepted for an insurance plan. So Ill be in the process of finally finding out if Lyme is the culprit to all of this suffering. I relate to so many of your symptoms on here - these posts are so helpful! My question to everyone is - for those who have neurological symptoms - have any of you experienced the scary, bizarre symptom of nystagmus? When your eyeballs dart in a jerking movement on their own? Mine came out of nowhere years ago. Id say Ive had it on and off for about 3 or 4 years. I have the acquired, pendular type where both eyes jerk back and forth quickly in a horizontal motion, if that means anything to anyone. It can happen when Im trying to focus my eyes on something, but oddly, it usually happens with sudden noises, such as the opening of a door. So weird, I know! Finally with my insurance, I know Im going to need another MRI, but has anyone else ever had this symptom? I know its often neurological or vestibular. Thanks!
