Hi, I’m Keano Lane and my last testimony was not very very - TopicsExpress

Hi, I’m Keano Lane and my last testimony was not very very prepared. When I was five, I lit a house on fire and didn’t realize I did it until a couple of years later, but I regret that night and now I have to go through my life thinking about that. In 2005, I moved to a small town in Louisiana called Welsh, I had friends, played sports, I thought it was the best life I could ever had. Then in about April of 2009, I moved to Bridge City. My first week there, I made friends with the principle and asst. principle. About the second week, people started bullying me. It got to the point where I didn’t care about life and I started to cut myself, I wanted to kill myself. I look at my hands, I see these scars, I have to live with these scars for the rest of my life, I told my mom, she said, just try to fit in so I did, tried out for sports. I made running back, but still got bullied and I quit, coach asked my why and I said people bully me. He said what do you want me to do, I said nothing, he said why; I said people are going to pick on me even more. He said, Keano you should start a petition on facebook about getting it illegal, so I did. Nothing happened, still bullied; I told on people, it kept getting worse. I told my mom about me and I am going to end up killing myself, she took me to a psychologist and he told him about me wanting to kill myself, I was so embarrassed, ran out and cried, I told my mom I can’t handle this anymore. I started smoking to relieve the stress from being bullied, after that it leaded to cussing. The year was 20012, my 8th grade year, the day I thought I should stand up for myself. I got in a fight with this 7th grader. I beat this kid up for calling me a cross eyed b word. They kicked me off the bus, and the next day I was in the principal’s office, the first thing he said was, you’re kicked off the bus, and I said so. I stood up and started to walk out, he said sit, but I said, this is just the beginning, imp going after everyone who bullied, he said, ok, but if you just ignore them you will have a better life, I really didn’t listen to him, but I said ok, and left. Later that day I got in another fight, I got suspended. My mom made me move to Vidor with my dad, and I made some friends, but still got bullied, wasn’t that bad, so 9th grade came, through the year, I made even more friends. One day this kid name Zachary Shield, I won barely. A week later met a kid, Andrew Smith. He helped me get to Jesus better, even though we weren’t the same religion it felt good to have a friend who wasn’t bullying me, talking about provocative stuff and cussing. One day I met this other kid named Victor. His mom said I should try to go to church. Well I did and it was cool. At first I didn’t know what they were talking about. They asked me to get saved, so I said yes. They asked me if I wanted to get baptized, and I said yes, too. That changed my life completely!! I felt like a new human, my heart was open up to Jesus. It was amazing!! My 10th grade year I met someone named Mrs. Dawn and she too opened up my heart with this club called, First Priority. I was good to have Christian friends who care about me. First Priority is something special, it is a club where you have to the right to be free and we pray in the mornings. First Priority Club is my only priority every day. I just want to think everyone for getting me closer to Jesus Christ. Think you Mrs. Dawn, Andrew Smith, my principle’s and my youth pastor. My 10th grade year is my hardest year. I’m 18 years old and in the 10th grade, I’m working on graduating as a senior, and thinking about going into the Marines. This is my Testimony and think you for listening.
