Hi Lady Zane! Ill get right to the point. Im 24 and engaged to be married to my loving fiancé who is 27 on this Saturday June 21st. Here is my question, why does everyone tell me Im too young to get married and fill my head with horror stories about how marriage is a mistake and it may not be worth my time? Dang. Does no one believe in marriage anymore? I couldnt be happier! Im very excited to be a wife! Any of your followers out there get married at my age or younger and are still going strong? Thank You MY RESPONSE: You are not too young to be married. You need to stop listening to dream stealers and reality stealers. I bet most of the people saying that are women with failed marriages or a string of failed relationships and I cannot blame them for their outlook. However, that does not mean that your marriage will fail. My parents have been married for 61 years. Dont believe the hype. Congrats and stop listening to horror stories. Tell them that you would rather not hear it because you are too busy being happy. Many people have horror stories because they kept trying to fix something that was obviously broken early on and went through several chapters of the same mess until they got the point, or the other person got tired of them and walked away after they sacrificed everything for them, including their self-respect. Good luck and if you are making a mistake, it is your mistake to make. Outside of an obvious reason like him being a cheater or an abuser, they have no reason to steal your joy.
