Hi. Me again. Yes. IM LIVID! I dont usually reach out on Facebook when Im upset, but I guess that changes tonight. So, the smooth-talking DeLorean, ya know--the one who pirated the video of Grant (our son who has Dwarfism), posted it on his Facebook page, and is using it to promote his business? Yes, the one who seemingly steels many peoples personal content and promotes it as his own? Well, after multiple un-responsive attempts to contact him personally, Nathan and I have decided to take action ourselves. We are thrilled that Grant has received such an amazing response to this video, and we are more than a little humbled that people are both cheering him on and being profoundly moved by him--but we are NOT okay with a scam artist using Grant to boost his financial and social gain. We are NOT okay with him not correcting the droves of people thanking this man for making this video. We are NOT okay with him not letting all the people who are sending messages to Grant through him know, that Grant will never see the messages they are sending. It is disgusting. This video belongs to Grant, and he should be able to continue to use it to spread his messages of hope, and to be strengthened by peoples encouragement to him. Grant deserves to be his own voice. We have reported it to Facebook as an infringement of our intellectual property, but it could be some time before action (if any) is taken. So, what are we doing about it? No idea. What would you do? We dont want to focus on bringing this guy down. The whole purpose of this video was to spread love. What do we do? What is right?
