Hi Menik, My name is Jenny and I am working on a CBBC history - TopicsExpress

Hi Menik, My name is Jenny and I am working on a CBBC history show, and we are potentially filming an episode in Belfast. I was hoping to speak with someone about potentially getting some of the Belfast Karate students involved in the filming. We are looking for a diverse group of kids aged between 9 and 12 to get involved in the show. We have already cast quite a few girls for the Belfast episode so are very keen to hear from boys! During the programme, the kids will be taken on a tour of a location with historical significance around the local area. We want kids who are confident and outgoing, who are happy to be themselves and have fun in front of the camera. This will involve one day of filming around the start of October, I should be able to confirm the dates later this week. There is potential for the filming date to be on a week day, and if this is the case we go through the proper processes of getting permissions from schools and licensing documents from the council. This is just something to be aware of in case parents would rather not take their child out of school. So if you think this is something your students would be interested in please let me know!
