Hi, MimmyJoes Mom here. While she is napping I thought I would share with you her story. I know Ive share bits and pieces of it here and there. But not the whole thing. Her full name is Snowy Emerald Joe, she is a full blooded, registered, papered Persian. Her grandfather was the original Fancy Feast kitty. She came into my life by accident. A couple of years before she came into my life I had another white Persian named Snowy. Snowy, was your typical copper eyed white, she was deaf but she loved me. Sadly an arsonist burnt our house down with her in it. I was devastated. I knew there was nothing I could have done to save her, I wasnt home when it happened but my heart was broken. A couple of years later, I was looking through the paper and saw an ad for a green eyed white kitten. I went and looked at her. I met her parents, found out her blood line and brought her home. I named her Snowy Emerald Joe in honor of Snowy and because of the color of her eyes. Well her eyes turned copper and her name was a mouthful. So it was shortened to EmmyJoe, but I would say it fast and it sounded like MimmyJoe. So MimmyJoe stuck. You will not find a more spoiled cat anywhere. When she was little, she would suck on my earlobe to fall asleep. And for the first six months I honestly dont think her feet touched the ground. Even now 20 years later, she doesnt have to walk unless she wants to, someone is more than happy to carry her. Now that shes older I keep her hair trimmed because if I let it grow, it would drag the floor. She gets weekly baths because it helps her hips and she has a hard time grooming herself. She may be the oldest of all the kitties here and the most frail, but they all know whos boss. They let her eat first, drink first and they know to stay out of her apartment! :) She rules the house!
