Hi! My name is Earl Lawrence Marion. I served with 97th Civil Affairs at Zukiran, Okinawa in 1965. Had a wonderful time going to Koza City, Four Corners, Kadeena Air Base. Our barracks were at Fort Buckner and we could see the Marine Corp Barracks and Parade Field. I had a great passion for the EM club and was introduced to my first One Armed Bandit. The members of the 1st Special Forces Group helped me prepare for Vietnam. I started out at Headquarters Company and got hooked up with Specialist Fourth Class Cliffton MacClain and we began training at Shi Bu Khan Karate Dojo. The dojo was located just of the beach and high way hidden in the bamboo forest. Any how, now I am working on my Doctor of Philosophy Degree. I got my High School GED because of the expertise and character I admire in Paratroopers, and when topped off with being part of the Green Berets, even if it is learning to do STD prevention, on Okinawa in 1965, as a New York kid from Harlem, with a TS/Crypto, 71b2p, I feel that being part of the A - Teams has paid me very well. Both with love for the Group members, and our peace being held firm here at home. Domo Aring Gato, Senseis.
