Hi! My name is SAM and I am big boy of about 18 pounds. I am black and rust with tall straight ears and a long happy meter for a tail. I am the oldest of the 16 who lost my home and family. I am a well trained boy is smart, attentive to my humans, and I know come, sit, and how to snuggle! I want my very own forever home with or without kids but with active humans so we can walk and hike and play and I would love other dogs in the home too. I am good at watching out for my family and being on alert when low flying things try to get in our yard! I was born in 2011 so I am about three years old, house trained, am working on the no bark command but once I get what you are asking of me, I behave! I am learning when to bark and when to stop barking. I have put on a couple pounds that exercise will help me take off. I like car rides with my humans and I have good energy but not that crazy off the wall stuff like when I was younger! My foster mom and my foster dad say I am a good boy! I am neutered, up to date on my shots and micro chipped so I am ready to interview potential families to adopt! I ride well in the car, I am kennel trained, I get along well with other dogs, I come when I am called, and my house manners are great.
