Hi. New to the group. Scheduled for surgery on my ACL Monday. Nervous and excited at the same time. I tore my ACL about 20 yrs ago and was able to rehabilitate without for all these years. Its finally giving me enough trouble that Ive been putting in motion to have surgery. 5 years ago someone landed on my knee causing the symptoms of instability in my knee. Ive put it off long enough and am ready to be able to get back to exercise and sports. My surgery is an allograph of the rt ACL. Any pointers? I plan to follow Drs orders and PTs orders to a tee and hoping I can return to my outdoor activities soon. What can I expect in terms of timeframe Ill need before returning to no brace and able to jog/run?
