Hi NewMedia Express, Web Hosting Singapore, thanks for the - TopicsExpress

Hi NewMedia Express, Web Hosting Singapore, thanks for the inefficiency. I’ve finally managed to transfer my website to another hosting Company and my website works perfectly fine now. Here are my last heartfelt words to your company. Things I am not happy about: 1) Changing to a new server without informing the client. I believe this is a norm for all businesses. Because of the change, my website was down from Saturday until Tuesday until I managed to transfer my hosting to Singapore Host. 2) I think more experienced people should be handling customers. When I asked if the upgrade can solve my problems, all I get is from your people is IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND OUT IF IT IS SUITABLE. I think this is ridiculous because how would I know, as an end-consumer without any IT experience, know how the upgrading is going to work? Even if I need an upgrade, I would think thrice before proceeding on. The customer service is seriously bad. 3) After I wrote a review on Facebook regarding the problem, the issue was passed on to the manager. This means that anything has to go via email. As the problem has been dragging on for many days, I called to see if my problem can be resolved ASAP. The customer service officer said that, because I have written on their Facebook page, every decision now has to be made by the manager. When I finally got a reply from the manager, it didn’t solve my problem at all. I tried to reach her over the phone, but she didn’t want to speak to me so she passed me over to the technical department. I was on the phone with the technical department for an hour, putting aside my phone bills and the technical in charge couldn’t solve my problem at all. I was finally left with nothing but to think on my own. 4) No conclusion to my problem. I have been told that my websites hosted are using too much memory ram and so was recommended to remove the other add-on website to TRY??! Seriously I am sure you know how much memory ram is being used by each of my websites and I believe my main website doesn’t use a lot of memory ram as it is a catalogue website. I have been using your host for 3 freaking years and each time renewing without much thought because of time and resources. There were so many problems I had with your company and each problem I faced needed me to submit a ticket, which will take 2 days to get a reply. As I have mentioned, my website brings revenue for my company but you guys take it so lightly. I believe this is the same for the rest of your customers. I may be a shared hosting user, but I am still a customer. 5) Weekends are only for critical issue, solely for VPS. I think it is super important that website hosting customer technical should be 24/7. When I tried my luck and called on a weekend, Newmediaexpress staff pick up my call but to my horror, your staff mention that it is only for critical issue and for VPS user only. Is my website being down not critical enough? So I think my issue will only be critical if I send out a virus and destroy your entire server! I think your company is a major disappointment to me, a customer who has been renewing hosting for 3 years. FYI, my hosting plan is a LX3, 100GB webspace, a package that you no longer offer on your website. That shows how long I have been with your company and seriously speaking, it is not cheap at all. I am spending over $400plus per year compared to the new hosting I have just gotten yesterday from another company, which is only for $200. Even though the space is lesser, I have no issues because I only need so much. **PS: my website is working perfect fine now at the NEW HOSTING COMPANY. It is working even faster than ever and Memory ram used is only at 25%. I am so glad that I know how to backup my stuff and switch to another hosting company if not I think I am so screwed. Good luck to all those signing up with you. Cheers! #newmediaexpress #webhosting #singaporehosting #facts
