Hi On Thursday night the Team from Brady Shipman Martin (BSM) came to Kilbeggan to meet with the people of Kilbeggan. Although Brady Shipman Martin is a large organisation the key people involved in this project will be: John Higgins - John was formerly the Community Development Manager for Kiltimagh & CEO of the Western Development Partnership Board. John has vast experience working with Communities across Ireland on developing and executing community plans. Sorcha Turnbull - Sorcha has extensive experience of all aspects of land-use planning, primarily in the private sector. She has also been involved in the adoption process of Local Area Plans, Masterplans, and Strategic Development Zones and has provided analysis and assessment for a range of project types, including retail, residential, mixed-use and urban regeneration. John Kelly - John is Managing Partner of Brady Shipman Martin, and has over twenty years experience in a multi-disciplinary environment covering strategic planning and design, detailed design and environmental assessment. The project is up and running. The quality of the final plan will be directly related to our participation. The team will also be conducting a number of visits to the town (starting on Tuesday 17th) to talk one to one with the people of the town and enhance the teams understanding of what the people of Kilbeggan want for the future of the town.
