Hi Our Favourite RSI Fans!! Its the WEEEEkkeeennnddss!! :) Time to relax and be Happy! In fact, make your family and children Happy!! :) One of the Happiest thing about working in RSI, is that we can really contribute to the Needy, especially the children. It has always been our aim to reach out to suffering humanity everywhere, as far as we could reach... But, it is the children that capture our hearts the most. As shared in our previous posts on the children in the Myanmar Girls and Boys Homes. It is immensely touching and inspiriting, to see the children being well taken care of, inspired with a Purpose and reaching out to the others in similar plights and the community. We can do the same, for them. :) In your donations, volunteering and ethical shopping, you are not only reaching out to the needy, but our children as well. When we donate our items, at least 90% are saved from the trash burner. That is a major step in helping reduce the carbon footprint, at least in SG. And were talking 10 - 30 tons of items Per day. And also, were teaching the children, that recycling is good, both for us and the environment. That using pre-loved items are ok, so long as they are properly sanitised. That will instil a mindset to treasure the things they own and how to manage their monies better. All these, and more, will result in a better environment, for our children. So that they can have a better place, to play, to have their families and a cleaner, cooler future. The time to act, is NOW. Do it, for our kids, give them a better place to Play, Study, Make Friends, down the road... Make Them Happy. :) Have a Blessed weekend, all.
