Hi PTC - I received notification for a workshop opportunity for playwrights and screen writers. They are offering huge discounts for my students - which are you! Here are the details and I have posted the poster with the workshop leaders here too. You must enroll and pay by April 1st to qualify for the discount. The Nebraska Writers Guild would like to offer your students (age 24 and under) a special discount to attend our annual Spring Conference, Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th at Mahoney State Park. The regular non-member status is $85. We would like to offer students who reserve and pay by March 31st a reduced rate of only $35! This year’s conference promises to be one of the best that we have ever had, with an outstanding lineup of speakers: • Pilar Alessandra – Screenwriting Rewrite Techniques • Harley Jane Kozak – An Insider’s Guide to Novels, TV, and Film • C. Hope Clark – Grants, Contests, Freelancing, Crowdfunding, and Hybrid Publishing • Kelly OConnor – How Publishing is Changing, and What Big Publishers Are Doing About It We also offer a Student Membership rate of only $20 per year, open to any aspiring writer 14 to 22 years of age.
