Hi! Pals, its just a full spent week in my place of primary assignment. I will keep you posted as key events unfold in quest to serve the nation. Firstly I got back peacefully on Sunday afternoon, cleaned my room properly & also meet my neighbours young beautiful girls Rebecca & juliana co-corpers serving in the same school. We exchanged pleasantries & I settled down. On Monday it was time for work but I had to wait earnestly to make my debut on Wednesday as a basic science teacher for jss2 students. As I entered the class all students greeted me with their gaze all fixed on me for a moment I was left dazed,jittered & felt blank. Seconds later I returned to normalcy responded & the rest became history. It was a gleeful session although with hitches cos these young students where prone to noise making. I treated the topic diseases they all participated & were in love calling me CORPER CHIMA. As this class ended, I returned to my comfort zone, reminisced & realized what a very big challenge it was for corpers like bamidele, danlami, Brutus etc. Who we made life difficult for while teaching us way back then in our alma mater F.G.C Nise. I sat back laugh & gritted my teeth. On Friday it was really an easy ride. Copied the note on the board, gave out assignment. They were content & eager to work with hope of me telling them a story in the next class. Saturday is a day I so much enjoy having the feeling arising from the consciousness of premier league matches & other mouth watering matches across Europe. It snatched me away from the island of boredom & sailed me safely to the isles of happiness & excitement as the games came alive. The pick of this weekend games is the thumping of Sunderland by the saints. I returned to my quarters great & also even as a Mancunian still expecting manutd to win against the baggies. Sunday is the Sabbath day & keep it holy. I obliged, prepared & went in search of my denomination (Anglican). I found out it was a newly established Church with not more than 20 persons with children making the greater number. At first I got discouraged, but I heard the persuasion if my inner man say join & contribute your own quota for where two or three are gathered am in their midst. It was spirit filled service, I returned home i lay on my bed from 12 noon till 7 am this morning sweltering in the akwa of boredom & loneliness. Although at night the committee of rats & squirrels took its full course. Its entropy was frightening & breathtaking both on the darks corners & on the ceiling but delightfully I survived.
