Hi Recruits! Welcome to the newbies and a big howdy to the stayers :) I hope everyone is a well as can be. Miss Ivy has been struggling a bit of late, she has not been herself and not particularly well. Whilst we are really not sure what this current upset is all about, what we do know is that the last few weeks have been very taxing on everyone and we are all a bit exhausted. Thankfully today, a dear friend offer us the opportunity do something different, break up the day and distract little Miss. We were able to take both Ivy and Van for a swim in a private salt pool. Public pools have been out of the question for some time. Ivy has not been to a swimming pool for over 2 years! I was shocked, amazed and very, very proud that Ivy was actually swimming by herself (aided only by her swim vest) in less than ten minutes! Note to all parents: we spent many hours swimming with Ivy as a baby and it was obvious today that it stuck - in 2 years, not once has she been swimming! I think that is incredible. Poor Van missed out as a baby due to circumstance so he was rather hesitate but was eventually convinced and enjoyed it once he joined in. Hopefully days and nights will become a little less eventful and tiresome and Miss Ivy catches a break some times soon.
