Hi! Remember me? Still flat on my back in bed at Swedish Hospital (almost to sitting position several times). Have worked with PT/OT to get to the point of rolling over in bed, pushing up to a standing position, scooting forward to my walker and with MUCH help, standing up. My left leg has more movement and strength. My right leg has very little movement or strength. Both have diminished sensation to the hips. Pain level is much much lower than last week. The first effort to stand sounded like someone in childbirth. Im such a baby. The operation was much more extensive than Dr. Srinivasan expected it to be until she got Im there. And there were a lot more bone spurs to be removed to open up my spine. And apparently theres something wrong with my platelet and I lost more blood than normal during surgery. Did I say that already? I need another nap.
