Hi Rescue Rovers! Happy New Year! I just wanted to thank you all for your kindness this past August when we lost our newly adopted Sunny from Rescue Rovers. I also want to thank Melissa Baker for asking us if we would like to try fostering. We agreed and met the gal at PetSmart early in September to pick up our Foster. The shelter didnt have a name for her, so she was called Dog. We had always had labs and granted, Dog did look like a chocolate lab. A very small one. To be honest we were a little shocked when we saw her. She was so very shy and shaking. Needless to say we took her home to give her some love and belly rubs. It soon became apparent that Dog was renamed KoKo and we fell in love with her. We had her DNA run and it came back labrador, golden retriever and Catahoula. In November we adopted KoKo. She is still shy around strangers but is improving daily. Thought you might like this video since she never made it to an adoption event!
