Hi Team Weight Watchers! This week we’re wrapping up our discussion of the 5 Levels of Change. We’ve learned that incorporating healthy choices into our lifestyle involves making meaningful yet simple changes to our every day. Long lasting, permanent change is about so much more than re-tooling our food choices and our activity level, so we started making our changes from the outside in! The ENVIRONMENT we create for ourselves has a lot of power in helping us stay on track. We found some simple ways to make challenging environments easier to manage in our week 1 group brainstorm meeting: “Be the Boss of Your World”. What in your environment needed a tweak? In “Winning Weight-Loss Actions”, we shared BEHAVIORS …the things we do-or DON’T do-that make us proud! We shared the things that we do that work toward our weight loss, the things that work against our weight loss and we heard some new things that we’d like to try. Which Environment change led to a new Behavior for you? Last week we combined CAPABILITIES and BELIEFS, because we know that whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right! So, until you really get there, we mentally rehearsed how it will feel to be there in our “Fake it Till You Make it” practice session! So, now that you’ve set your Environment up to encourage your new Behavior what are you Capable of? And, since you’re Capable, how does your Belief reflect how you think and feel about what you can do? We’re ready for our “I am” statements! Which part of your Identity have you built this month? Because, remember we are so much more than the reflection of numbers on a scale! This week we’re going to create-and get advice from- our future selves! Your “You, Version Two” will share philosophies on eating, exercising and how to lose weight and feel great! Are you ready?
