Hi. There is this Data Challenge by Analytics Training Institute that I am taking part in. One of the data-sets is Average annual volumetric rates of all decades from 1900 to 2008. The information includes Aquifer name and System across different regions of the U.S. and some details about Africa,China and broadly the rest of the world. The data about U.S. is much more detailed than the other continents. The variables covered are AREA, LATITUDE ,LONGITUDE, RISE and FALL of the VOLUME of ground water for each decade from 1900-2008. Now, what I want to do with this data is find out which regions have the highest/lowest depletion rates and how the trend has been for these regions over the years, and most importantly the factors that may have influenced this high/low depletion rates. Any idea how I could go about this whole process? Im relatively new to this, and would really appreciate some pointers. Thanks!
