Hi This is a very good initiative and there is no doubt what so ever. But I do have few questions, if those could be answered please: 1. Who is aware of the exact picture of the IDPs? What is the source of information? 2. Do you have information about all the camps or just one or two locations? 3. What at the moment the Government of KP and Centre doing there? 4. Which one is the area where most of the help is required? 5. How would you reach to the max of the IDPs and what is the modes operandi for that? 6. Who will be controlling on ground? Are all the necessary clearances been arranged or not? I am sorry that am asking too much of questions here but I have seen these sorts of efforts in 2005 earthquake and the great flood of 2010. In these two catastrophes, most of the people were denied of help as they were at far flanged areas and every one was hitting the nearest points. I have seen people flooded Abbottabad, Mansehra and to some extent Balakot to help and created more problems as they had no clue what to do. I have seen people throwing away energy biscuits and other imported stuff (as they are not used to eat that sort of stuff) and asking for Atta, daal, chawal, doodh and cheeni. They dont need burqas and stuff as they already have that. As far as the rest of the stuff which you have mentioned, already the stores are flooding with them as everyone is bringing in that. Please ask the people who are maintaing those camps that WHAT EXACTLY IS REQUIRED? Tribal culture is far different from what we have in most of the cities of Pakistan. So ask first before you start sending in scores of Balti and cooking utensils and rest of the stuff. I am afraid your efforts would go in vain. I am sure that you have must have a plan for all your effort but just in case if you lacking in some basic knowledge then you should acquire that first. It is our duty as Muslim to help the needy when they actually needs that. I would love to contribute in any possible way. In last I am sorry if you think that I have asked/suggested too much. But I have done this twice and knows exactly what it takes. Shukran.
