Hi! This is sweet Coco. We have just joined and are pretty new to all this. Coco was diagnosed with ME about a 2 months ago. Maybe a little less. We were total babes in the woods. Had no idea what was happening. Took us several trips to the vet to be diagnosed. We are still not on a good schedule. We have our up and down days. Two weeks good and then a terrible day. Then a good week and then a terrible 2 days. Now we are having a pretty good week with the addition of some new meds. I am so happy to have found your support group. I read the posts and find people that are going thru very similar things as Coco and I. I did not realize that there were so many dogs and owners going thru this. Finally a place to read and talk. I am very thankful. Things change so quickly. I had not even heard of ME until I was told of Cocos diagnosis. At first it sounded just like a simple maintenance issue. Boy was that a little off. But I am so grateful that we have run into several folks that have gladly shared their stories and everyone has helped in someway. Glad to be here. And that is my sweet Coco below. Just 7 years old and we have had her since she was 3 months old. She was also born w/o hip sockets so needs pain meds also. But such a loving little girl.
