Hi, Twice a year, the UKs Ministry of Defense sends medical surgeons to Denmark to participate in Operation Danish Bacon. This controversial training involves soldiers shooting pigs after which doctors operate on them, on the grounds of preparing them for treating battle wounds. These trauma training exercises -- conducted on live animals -- would be illegal in the UK. There are now lifelike human simulations that do a superior job of preparing doctors to provide medical care for wounded people. I just signed a petition to tell the European Commission to stop this inhumane practice. Will you sign too? Heres a link to the petition:
