Hi Zambia, Am sorry I have been busy and missed your calls. I guess you will understand that Life in your belly is really hard. Am sorry for speaking to you with words when you spoke to me with pictures. You showed me hunger and poverty, I only said a few words in a foreign language. Please Zambia, always remember that you are a woman thats why folks call you mother Zambia and I guess you know what that means. As a woman, your opportunities are 10 times fewer than those of men, you have to be as intelligent as a god for you to get a job occupied by a man... You risk being the maid in your own house even if you have a better job and your man is a john solye ubwali. Even in institutions like parliarment, you cant even 50 women yet you will find more than a hundred men. I know this is not fair but thats the truth Mother Zambia. I wish not to talk about the defilement and rape evils that you are to face as a woman. I remember last time you got depressed because you compared yourself to other women... You mentioned South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, to begin with, before you got married and became independent from your parents, I think the men you dated were cheaters, while they flirted with you and slept with you they never bothered to civilise you. They only built roads because they came with cars, built a few schools just to lure you into bed. I must say you dated mediocre men. And whilst you entertained them, they developed the women they chose to marry, look at SOUTH AFRICA, ZIMBABWE, they have the best infrastructure while your Findeco remains like a middle finger in the face of civilisation..... Am sorry Mother Zambia. Am sure you remember that gentle man who came with a white cloth in his hands, yeah they called him KK. That gentleman had some good intentions, he had to bring you back into shape with his men and women. Today you are 49, technically you are an old lady, how I wish you could have your own grand children apart from the inherited ones. I do understand grandchildren forms up that arc of pride to you women but its a shame your own children like ZCCM, ZESCO, ZAMTEL have been barren and have failed to give you your most treaured gift of grandchildren. I know how emotional this reality is to you so I will not dwell on it. What really bothers me Mother Zambia is the behavior of the worms in your belly, really after so many years of your existance, they now want to break the unity of your own being. In your own belly now theres regionalism or just tribalism, so last time you complained of stomach issues it was actually ulcers because there was a fight between the red worms and the blue ones. And now theres talk of corruption, I hear some worms are eating more and faster than others. Hey, is it true that theres in-fighting in your head too, there stories that your head has to contrary structures? Well, if thats true then it is a terrible condition for you mama. With all that, allow me to congratulate you for your 49 birthday and I know your worms now have a reason to drink and eat your life out.
