Hi again everyone. I asked all of you for some advice this morning on a Singer 15 at a local thrift store.. She didnt have a foot pedal or a plug but I couldnt get rid of the urge to buy her anyway for $31.50. So we got home and I plugged my Featherweight cord into her and she works fine. Sounds dry so I am going to oil her real well. There is an extra cord attached which needs a plug in on it but that is a simple fix. Dont know what it is for though. From the # she is from 1955. She needs a good cleaning and oiling. The finish seems to have a film on it. Any ideas what to use to clean her up. Decals show very little wear. Anyway I named her Matilda. Dont usually name my machines though. Did I get a fair deal for $31.50. Thanks for the advice this morning.
