Hi again guys. This is really urgent and I desperately need a foster. Its a long story but please hear me out. This sweetheart, Churchill, wandered into our lives. I live with some roommates and we all fell in love. He was the sweetest cat wed ever met. Because he was so well mannered we assumed he belonged to someone else. We fostered him for a while, drove him to two separate women who thought it was their missing cat, and he always came back. After about two months of looking for his home we came to the realization that he was abandoned. At the time we had a new friend who also loved Church. He really wanted to adopt him so we finally felt comfortable in handing him off to someone. It was great. We went to visit him and babysat him when our friend went home after the semester. Fast forward to tonight. My roommate brings Church home. It turns out our new friend abused Church. Sometimes for discipline, sometimes for fun. Now he wont come near at us. He hisses at us and tries to swat at us. The same cat we all loved, who cuddled with us so many nights, now cant stand human contact. Our new friend was going to take him to the woods or to PAWS when he got a new puppy who didnt like Church. So Im pleading with all of you. He is a good cat. Ive tried for months to save him only to have him face the worst odds. We can no longer foster him as were all either back at school or facing full work loads. Please, please help me save Church.
