Hi all - After receiving thousands of complaints from citizens who had been taken advantage of by all of the puppy mills or scammers found online, the federal government (USDA) amended the AWA in an effort to combat this increasing online problem. Unfortunately, the new laws affect reputable breeders, as well. As a result, we will no longer be able to ship puppies sight-unseen. Over the years, most people have simply come here to pick up their puppies. However, for others, our carefully screened homes have been able to trust that, based upon our health guarantee, references, show results, health clearances, interview, photos, video, etc. that they were going to be getting a good quality, healthy dog or puppy. So, those puppies were able to be shipped by plane without concern from their new owners. But now, this will no longer be an option. Unless we want to be subject to a lot of additional fees, paperwork, and hassles, we can no longer ship to anyone who has not first seen his/her Siberian in person. This is our hobby, and although we take the care, exhibition, and health of our dogs very seriously, we are not willing to deal with even more hoops to have to jump through. We go to great lengths and expense for our dogs, as we rightly should... but there comes a point when having to be restricted and punished because of the actions of the irresponsible breeders in the world simply becomes a bit too tedious. So, for our existing deposit holders, this means you will either need to come and pick up your puppy at 8 weeks, meet us somewhere if we happen to be traveling (which isnt often), or come see your puppy earlier and then ship later. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are an existing deposit holder who lives far away, with no means of coming here to retrieve your puppy, please give me a call.
