Hi all. Any advice welcome on this one. We are following attachment principles with parenting of our delightful nearly 10 mo little girl. Problem is my wife is due back to work soon and will occasionally need to be late home thus missing bedtime. Dd is fine with taking breast milk from the bottle and happy to be without mum provided another key person is around but she seems to get very upset if mum isnt there to put her to bed or to resettle her if she stirs. I just cant seem to settle her. It isnt just breast but mum herself that seems to be required. I am just no substitute and she ends up wailing rather than sleeping. I think she is into the primary carer phase ATM but we need to try and work something out. Any ideas?
