Hi all, Byron Shire Chemical Free Landcare are calling out to people who have the time to commit to a core group that will meet once a week for the next four weeks. The aim of the group is to create strategies, (and actions to implement them), that will grow the chemical free land care social movement surrounding Save Tyagarah Nature Reserve from aerial and ground spraying. Key leadership areas are; media leasing, photography/filming, social media-focus, legal, fund raising, publicity, non-violent direct action, Bitou ground work support/volunteer organizing. The first meeting is this Thursday evening 6 pm – 7: 15 pm at Gondwana Community Hall, please RSVP by replying to this email ASP, if you feel you can contribute your leadership skills to this invaluable process. How to get there: turn into Grays Lane from the Pacific highway, at the Tyagarah Airstrip sign (it can help to be in the right-hand lane of the highway). Then drive 1.2 km along Grays Lane to the first road on the left, Prestons Lane. Turn left into Prestons Lane, and Gondwana Sanctuary is at the second entrance on the left about 300m from the corner.
