Hi all, Collective wisdom needed. Ive been involved in Persian - TopicsExpress

Hi all, Collective wisdom needed. Ive been involved in Persian rescue for years and am a former Persian breeder, but I am stumped on what to do in this situation. Our rescue took in 4 kittens from a Persian breeder. They were quite young when they came to us (8 weeks) and they had URIs, were freshly spayed, and received their first vaccinations. In short, a lot of stressors on youngsters. Three transitioned easily to dry food (Royal Canin Babycat, then Kitten) in addition to canned, but one refused anything except canned food. She has since been adopted and still will not eat dry food at all. Adding water to the dry food didnt help. Adding milk to the dry food didnt do the trick. Mixing canned food with dry didnt work. I told the adopter Id reach out to this group for other ideas. Theyre now nearly 4 months old. And, no, the adopter doesnt want to maintain an all-canned diet forever. Thanks in advance!
