Hi all, Day 3 and no real change in positions. Hugh had great pleasure in beating Martin Herrig in Round 9 and Marcus did the same in Round 12. It was nice to take some points off the top guns. The conditions were lighter today but the lift was still very strong and cyclic which meant backing up 2 good flights in a row was really difficult. This was highlighted by only 30% of the field getting a 2 minute max in the Ladder task. We stopped early today to have a chuck glider/team building exercise (4 people from a different country in each team) and it was extremely entertaining with everyone cheering from the sidelines and the winner hoisted on his team mates shoulders. It was great fun. Joe Wurts is a machine and is clearly the best pilot on the field. His focus, skill and tactics are just superb. Peewee and Kevin are also doing really well and our Kiwi friends are currently in first place and we hope they can go all the way (again). Cheers, The Aussie Team
