Hi all, Do you remember me posting this image before christmas? Well to cut a long story short, basically this hofner contemp bass, with hard case and spare bridge/hofner knobs, came up for sale for just £270. Bargain! So i bought it, the seller sent it via city link.....big mistake. over night delivery paid but it never turned up, over a week passed with frantic emails and phone calls to citylink to just be told sorry it never turned up at the depot, its gone. the seller refunded me and that was that. 3 days ago i got a random letter in the post, it said that a guitar shaped parcel was sent to him with his address on, but he didnt order one! he removed his address sticker to find mine underneath! and to give him a call. I phoned this guy up and said thanks you for getting in touch and we sorted another delivery..... Long story short.....i now own this bass, it is here in front of me, and it only cost me......£12 to have it sent to me. Kind of glad i didnt pay the £270 as its very grubby and tarnished. i am currently cleaning it. 2007 model i believe. yes the guy was also refunded. and citylink have gone bust. Not a bad package for £12 would you say, or do you think i paid too much???
