Hi all. Firstly a big thank you to all for the messages of love and support during this very difficult time. Means a lot to myself and the family and Im sure my dad as well. We are having a memorial send off Tribute to Jimmy on Friday afternoon at Turffontein racecourse from 3.30pm for 4pm, which we are hoping will go on into the night. Please come down and celebrate the life of this remarkable man with us. He touched so many with his warmth and generosity of spirit and we would like to show him just how much he means to us. The affair will not be formal as we want it to be a joyous occasion, but there will be a few people who will say a few words. If anyone would like to say something about dad, please feel free, the mic is yours. There will also be a piano that will be accompanied by Adele Strombeck and we encourage any or all of dads thespian friends to send him off in song. He would have loved that. So get out the song books and come down to Turffontein on Friday to experience the love that was and will remain my dad.
