Hi all Friends, To whom, who might not clearly know about us, this is call Kayan dances and Kayan Ethnic people which is a branch of Karennian Tribes as well. Please Kindly requested not to call Long Neck people because we are Kayan and wearing the rings is our tradition, which was started for many hundred years ago, just to keep our cultures and sybol of our Kayan people. Not only in Kayan region, Myanmar but also others country where our tribe displaced. Why we have to wear the rings? There are many reason for this question but most of our ancient people believed that our tribes came from Dragon relatives. As a people of dragon our ancients parents decided to wear the rings even male or female but because of globalization or the society is changed most of people are uncomfortable with the ring any more. Therefore, only a few people and women are still keep our Tribes symbols.
