Hi all Gazas and my FB family, Close family are aware but Gaza wants his mates to know where we are at: The latest medical update is another 3 tumours found in the brain, awaiting confirmation from the neuro radiotherapist as to when the radiotherapy starts, they tend to love a 5 day window, so I think Monday next week. It has affected his speech and balance again. It has been a long and hard road, more so the last month after the lung aspirations and following operation. The first brain tumour diagnosed on 10.9.13, so just over a year later we feel like we have done a massive circle and returned.... Gaza put on 15kgs over the year due to steroids and has lost 25 kgs in the last 2 months. After the warfarin stopped yesterday, and the dexmethsone started in full force, our appetite has returned with a vengeance, look out I hope they are ready in the kitchens at North Shore Hospital, and well stocked LOL. He is in fine form as usual, and is already organising me for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs game on Saturday night after the brides hens party. Heres to Gazas stoic outlook on life that has taken him so far already, seemingly indifferent to overwhelming pain, does not give a shit about the stupid things in life and accepts what is going to happen without complaint (mostly) now working towards fitting into that gorgeous suit Jes Moore, to walk Samantha Moore down the aisle on 10.10.14.
