Hi all. I am having a hard time finding books for my son to read. He is 8, but reads slightly behind PS grade level. Actually he reads better than he thinks he does, but becomes intimidated if there are no pictures in the book. He can read the Magic Treehouse books. He LOVES the Jedi Academy graphic books, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid is ok for him. He is nowhere near reading something like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson, which are the level of YA books I know about. I just cant seem to find books that are not either baby books or too hard. Does anyone have a book - or ideally a series - that is about the level of these other three? TIA! (Sorry if this has been discussed before, I scrolled back and couldnt find anything.)
