Hi all I find it interesting that we all set out to start a business, work at setting up our passion or just to give ourselves a job or something that will give use an interest or income or for so many other reasons we get involved in the world of self-employed or entrepreneur as it is called today. The thing I find interesting is that to do what interests us we have to do so many thing that drag us down like book work accounts marketing P.R. Etc. I have just started working my mobile coffee van and the things I had to do to get to this point are things I will never have to do again trades I had to learn just so I can sell coffee from the back of a van. If I were a baker I would have to become a builder or something so I can fit out a bakery I have to find all the machinery and shelving set it up electricians plumbers health inspectors etc. and to sell all the things I make I have to set up distribution points or a shop front promotional strategies accounts and possibly loans to set it all up. It just goes on and on and then you find you have worked for months trying to get up and running and you start to question your reasons for starting the adventure in the first place and the interest and passion starts to decline and a lot of new adventures start failing and within 12 months to two years many have closed and lost everything. What I am looking for is people who are interested in setting up a group to start joint businesses so everyone will be able to do what they are passionate about if you like baking you bake or if you like making things; if you like accounting you do books if you like sales you do marketing. If you have an idea for a good business but find it hard to get it going through lack of knowledge or expertise in some things and need help. Put it out to the main group and see who is interested in picking it up and helping move it forward. Or if you have finance and would like to back one of these venture and get good returns and be involved in how your money is being used. This is not a business angel group, it’s a people helping people group finding people with the same passion for adventure. If you are an accountant you may be involved in more than one group or the marketing or web developer etc. and you can be a partner or a paid adviser but you may be waiting for your fees until all is running depending on how you approach the opportunity and how you are to be accountable for what you do. We can set up an advisory group to help other groups set up and then those groups can help other groups. Does this sound interesting to anyone would you like to be involved to see where it goes?
