Hi all I have a question about Beardies.... I might be purchasing 2 female juveniles from a lady. They are 6 months old. Housed together. Ive just been to view them. My concern is they didnt have a heat/basking lamp. She informed me that they didnt like it (this baffled me). I picked them up. They were very cold. And lethargic. I asked if there was a dominate one, she said no. However it was clear the bigger one, who choose a higher positioning in the enclosure was! It was also clear that they both just stay in there same spot in the enclosure.... (It was a pretty blank home, nothing for them in there)... which of course worries me. I have never heard of a beardie not liking a basking spot, unless the temp isnt set correctly. So my question is, can having prolonged exposure to only a UV light and no heat lamp at all have effects on their health? She is asking a lot of money for these dragons (central, regular colouring) and I am worried for these beautiful beardies. Can anyone help me? Thank you
