Hi all, I hope you had a great New Years Eve and are prepped to have some fun or to relax today. Im just a wee bit busy as I am moving on Monday but am steadily crossing things off my to-do list. Unfortunately, I waited just a wee bit too late to do one of those things and the rock that I have in the center of my garden, and which has great sentimental value and is to be moved with me when I move houses on Monday, is frozen solid in the ground. It doesnt go down deep, maybe 3 inches and probably weighs under 30 lb, but I have to admit that my own brute strength isnt going to be enough to move it. Time for some ingenuity and good tools. My ideas include: 1. A blowtorch and somebody who knows how to work a blowtorch; 2. A chain to wrap around the rock and a car with a hitch to attach to said chain; or 3. A good, long, extension cord and a powerful hair dryer or other heating tool to thaw the ground without blowing itself out. Does anybody have any of the above or any other wonderful ideas that will facilitate in rehousing rune rock ? Thanks so much and Happy New Years, Amelia
