Hi all, I just wanted to drop you a line to remind you about the quick fund raising event that is planned to take place this Sunday after the walk at Garstang. Before we head off to the pub as usual, we will quickly set up shop with our donated “bring and buy” goods on the nearby picnic benches at the Garstang car park. By selling off your cakes and raffling away the bottles of donated wine or other items, we will be able to raise a few more pounds for our chosen charity. If you haven’t already done so you may like to bake a cake or bring along a bottle of wine to this Sundays walk event, if you haven’t time to prepare just bring additional money to the walk to make your donation. You might want to bring along a container to take away your cakes. We are raising money for the Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team and if you are able to collect donations or sponsorship from family and friends prior to the event this Sunday all monies received will be welcome.
