Hi all, I just wanted to let you know that I have conceded after the recount. I wish to thank everyone who came out and voted for me. Although I didnt take the seat this time I still intend to be very much part of my community. During my campaign many issues were raised with me and I look forward to addressing them in the near future. I wish to thank so many of you who have called and texted since the result was confirmed. My initial disappointment was alleviated by the messages of goodwill and the encouragement shown to me. I will always appreciate this support. Once again a huge thank you to my campaign team for their drive and commitment and everyone who helped out in any small way. I would also like to thank the members of Sinn Fein who rallied around me today. To the successful candidates a massive congratulations to you all. Thank you Lynn for the lovely message you sent me especially at this particularly busy and exciting time. See you all at the RDS later, wouldnt miss it for anything.
