Hi all, I was asked a question today that I couldnt answer so I am reaching out here to see if anybody may be able to help. A friend of mine is thinking of purchasing a Pure Clydie Gelding, she just wants him for a pleasure mount once he is ready to be broken ( he is only 18months old) at present. Whilst she is waiting for him to grow and develop she thought she may take him to a few shows etc. Now the owner of this gelding has given her one price for the horse, and another price for the papers????? so my question to you all is......... If a horse is registered, and you are purchasing this said horse, should the owner pass the papers on with the sale??? Or is he allowed to retain the papers, and then try and sell them to you for a price? Any advice here would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
