Hi all. Im doing the Research Methods module and am struggling to come up with a topic for my questionnaire. I had originally hoped to research something related to language acquisition as that is likely to be the direction of my dissertation, but unfortunately Im currently between jobs and so do not have ready access to students or teaching colleagues, which means Ill probably have to use friends and family as respondents. I therefore need to think of a linguistics-related topic which the average person who is not learning another language would be interested in or have an opinion on. Any suggestions or ideas greatly appreciated! Thanks very much in advance!!!
