Hi all! I’m sorry it’s a bit delayed but here is the response to your feedback at the framework meeting on the 4th March, in the BU style of ‘You Said, This Happened’. You Said: You want myBU to be used more effectively This Happened: Lecturers are looking at organising a training session for myBU so that they can offer better online services, such as online work submission and online bookable tutorials You Said: You want to be able to travel to the main BU campus more often This Happened: SUBU and Salisbury Reps are looking at various ways we can make this happen. One such way is to create a club or society in Salisbury to gain access to funding for travel, more information on this later. You Said: You want better books in the library This Happened: Ian Smith has been actioned to send Janet Waters in the LRC the course book list, and she has welcomed student suggestions for books she should buy in. Send suggestions to Katie Pliskin, Darren Titcombe, Janet Waters or Ian Smith. Other matters: The BU summer ball is on the 7th of June and tickets are on sale now! Find out more at subu.org.uk/events/summer-ball-2014--2 I am looking at arranging an exhibition for the 3rd year at Bournemouth University, as we dont have a London venue this year.
