Hi all! Many of you know I regularly try to help out here, as I am an author on books on Bali. I received a very long message from someone wanting help. She sent me her full itinerary and asked many questions about it. I responded, but not answering all questions, just with a couple of suggestions. She then sent another raft of questions. I let her know there were many, and suggested she post them one by one here, so you all could help out, as I needed to do some work. (We had a burst pool pipe yesterday and had a pool full of mud and water we couldnt stop because the pools water level kept filling the hole! Lost a whole afternoon!!) I am happy to keep helping out here, but if it means receiving abusive emails, as I just did, I will stop. I work and while I take time out to type a 30 second response, I cannot review your itineraries, tell you what retreat is best for you to connect with nature, how many days to plan to stay at various places on that itinerary, where to stay in Seminyak, Kuta and Canggu, recommending contacts, plus a good guide and French contacts, where to go to clean the past from your head, and another 15 or so questions. I am not a travel agent. Forgive me if I do not have time to consult. But I am happy to continue to write quick 30 second responses to three or so posts a day, if that is helpful to you. But to the woman who just abused me for trying to be helpful? Enjoy Bali. I sincerely mean that. But if you want a travel planner, pay for one.
