Hi all! Please see below for info on applying to an amazing two-month teaching experience in South Africa. Teach With Africa is a San Francisco-based non-profit organization that has partnered with LEAP Science and Math Schools for the past 7 years to send experienced and passionate educators to South Africa during summer months to engage, teach, learn and share with educators and students. TWA will prioritize recruiting teachers in math, science, English, technology/ computer science, and humanities disciplines with middle school or high school teaching experience. All Fellows or Faculty-in-Residence team members will be expected to present or co-present professional development training workshops to student-teachers and qualified teachers at South African partner schools. Program dates vary based on Fellowship or Faculty-in-Residence track, but the commitment is generally 3-6 weeks between late June to early August 2014.
