We look forward to seeing you there. 1/29 Cover Letter and CV: Your job search starts now! Learn what to include on your CV, how to display your accomplishments, and strategies of designing a well-composed cover letter. Attend to discover how to distinguish yourself from others and land the job interview. 2/19 Interviewing and “Job Talk”: You’ve been selected for an interview! Now what? Gain insights on the campus visit experience. Learn how to prepare for the visit and go equipped with strategies to determine if the site visit is a match for you and the school. 3/12 Pursuing and Obtaining Grants: Now that you’ve landed the job, it’s crucial to secure your role through grant funding. Become familiar with the grant process, where to find grants, and how to obtain funding for your project. 3/26 March Madness Mingle: Escape the madness and come mingle with your fellow friends! Bring your favorite munchies to share with others. 4/23 SAGE Symposium: Create a poster to showcase your research and receive helpful feedback from peers and accomplished professors. This is designed to help prepare you for an upcoming presentation and acquaint you with the experience of displaying and discussing your research. Poster proposal submissions are due by 3/31.
