Hi all, We are creeping closer to spring and an idea I have had for awhile is to post projects that people have been trying to do with little to no money and time. Late last year I organised a work day at a friends house and I cant believe how much a group of about 12 people got done. We painted every wall, and ceiling, tore out all the carpet, patched holes, fixed plumbing, hung blinds, just about everything you can imagine. I have 3 projects in mind for this spring and am hoping to get tons of volunteers. This isnt about money.... Its about volunteering your time to help a fellow human being eliminate stress that consumes them.... The first project I would like help with is for a brother in the fire service.... He has a house that he has been working on since January of 2012.... There will be plenty of work for everyone, cleaning, painting, sheetrock repair, door work, a little of everything.... If anyone is able to help please plan on meeting at 600 West Jackson in Wellsburg Iowa on Saturday April 6th at about 10 AM. Please message me in advance so I can figure out what all we can get done. Work there for an hour or all day, it all makes a huge difference. Thank everybody so much in advance!!! I appreciate it and Im sure Dave will too!
