Hi all. We understand that things may come up from time to time and cant be avoided. However once your daughter has committed to a sport, it becomes a team commitment. If we have less then 5 players on a Saturday we cannot take the court as you have to have 5 original players to be able to play. As some teams cannot pull from other Jaguars teams eg all Jag 3 teams it is important that you make your game. Once you have played 3 games for another team you are locked in to that team. Girls can play up in another year level but cannot play down. FILL INs If a fill-in is needed because a team member cant make it, that team will lose 1 point per fill in It is hard to teach the girls drills when theyre not at trainings, and even harder when you teach them at training and theyre not there for the game. Which is what has been happening over the last 2 weeks. We do have girls in our teams that have never played before so its confusing for them when there are new faces on game day. We understand that for some parents it is frustrating to watch the games but please keep in mind that it is a fun social game and at the end of the day its all about good sportsmanship. Its is only a 40 minute game, so if we could please ask if its not an urgent family crises , could you all please attend the games on Saturdays . If we have to forfeit the game then the club WILL NOT pay the forfeit fee. This will be up to parents of that team.
